my new job
started on my new job for almost a week. been doing nothing but reading manual, practicing on the application and writing new manuals for a new application that is built on the old one. wondering when i will ever start on the development and business role that i was promised. i understand that i got to be patient and gain more knowledge on the application itself. however, this is easier said than done. i am more of those hands on person, all this reading is taking it's toll on me. i will much rather learn by actually dealing with user issues.
just came back from a wedding dinner. ron looked gorgeous in the pink gown. ^^ looking forward to seeing her wear the white gown for our rom coming jan. the ballroom that the banquet is held in had a number of pillars that blocked the view of the slide show. must learn to take the pillars into consideration when planning my own show.
x'mas is coming. think bro already has plans to stay out with his friends. since ron will be spending the night with her family, i have a good mind to stay home too. pat and fish should be coming over for supper. better to have a quiet night of supper with them than to hang out in the streets till daybreak.
windows vista is finally launched. i am not too sure, but it seems like only the microsoft people are excited about the launch. the rest of my world seems not too bothered by the whole issue (neither am i). as i mentioned previously, i belong to the group who believe in letting those geeks iron out the issues with vista before i will even consider making the switch over. as far as i am concerned, vista is just "xp with a prettier face".
