an end and a beginning

time to pick up the pieces after the chinese new year break. a thousand and one things seemed to happen all at once. leong has arrived safely in sweden. will have to make do the occasional chat with him over skype until he returns in oct. alex got himself a job offer, but i hope that he gets to do his phd in an institution of his choice. it will be a waste of his talent if he does not continue his studies.

had a small tiff with wifey, took some time for me to clear my head. just glad that we managed to get past this. we have a long way to walk with each other. will try my best not to let emotions overrun me again.

just got my performance review from boss today. apparently some senior staff already knew about my review before i had it with boss. i was thinking of taking up the new challenge. (since this is what i have been doing for the past few months) however a discussion with wifey made me more cautious. will need more serious thinking and another discussion before i give my reply to boss. dead tired from my current workload. ^^
